Unless you're Queen Grimhilde from Snow White, a hot slice of homemade pie has an inherent cozy, comforting quality to it that stays until the last bite. In both the spirit of summer and baked treats, Kellogg's revealed three new Pop-Tarts flavors inspired by some of the tastiest pie flavors. They all sound sweet enough to serve up with a cool scoop of vanilla ice cream. The new flavors include Lemon Crème Pie, Banana Crème Pie, and Peach Cobbler - so, yeah, these "breakfast" pastries are basically a portable dessert.
Each fruity pie flavor will be available in 8-count boxes for $3 or 16-count boxes for $4 beginning in June 2021. Until then, we might try making a batch of fresh sourdough Pop-Tarts at home or try whipping up a homemade lemon pie of our own. Sneak a peek at all three new Pop-Tart flavors here.
