Sparkly Tuxedos and Pantsuits Are a Winner's Uniform at the Critics' Choice Awards

In my opinion, there's no look more powerful and sophisticated than a pantsuit - except for a tuxedo. And the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet saw a lot of both. Dan Levy, who won an award for Schitt's Creek and posed before the show for photographer Ted Belton, looked dapper in a star-spangled black-and-white look from Dior by Kim Jones. Meanwhile, Amanda Seyfried's dazzling Miu Miu look came dripping in jewels with a bow-tie. Her stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, confirmed the inspiration came from Greta Garbo, Liza Minnelli, and Charlie Chaplin. Kaley Cuoco looked toward Dolce & Gabbana in her three-piece set with cropped, wide-leg pants (all the better to show off her Christian Louboutin heels). If that's not enough, we also saw sparkly sequined co-ords from Angela Bassett and Jurnee Smollett worth writing home about. Scroll down to take in this trend that completely took over at the ceremony.
