Some BFFs have the same Starbucks order, and others are so in love with caffeine that they decide to run out and get matching coffee tattoos, just like Elliot Page and Mae Martin. To commemorate their longtime friendship, Page and Martin showed off their simple but stylish new ink designs in an Instagram post on April 19. "Someone stop us from getting more tattoos," wrote Martin, who got their new coffee ink on the side of their stomach under an existing "OK" tattoo. For Page, the new addition - designed by artist Beatrice Brown - is just one of many arm tattoos, including one that reads "Mom."
Based on the design, it looks like Page and Martin take their coffee black, but just looking at the tattoos, done by Andrew White of Midway Tattoo Shop in Toronto, has us feeling sweet. For anyone whose taste buds are equally enticed by the scent of roasted espresso beans and the little plinking noise of the coffee dripping into your favorite mug, feel free to peruse through some of our favorite coffee-tattoo ideas here, and see Page and Martin's new ink up close ahead.
