We've Done the Math, and Here's When We *Think* Starbucks's Pumpkin Spice Latte Will Arrive

With Halloween decorations already on display in stores like HomeGoods and Home Depot, you're probably wondering where the ever-popular pumpkin spice latte is at your local Starbucks (fall starts a full month before Halloween, after all). While Starbucks sadly hasn't said a peep about when to expect its mouth-watering seasonal flavor in 2021, we have a pretty good idea when to anticipate its arrival based on past release dates.

Since 2018, Starbucks has released its Pumpkin Spice Latte in August, first Aug. 28 in 2018 and then Aug. 27 in 2019. In 2020, it came out with its earliest PSL release ever on Aug. 25 - so what's in store for this year? If we had to guess, we'd say you can expect to sip your first PSL of the season as soon as Tuesday, Aug. 24. And if you're wondering why we have such a specific date in mind, it's because Starbucks releases seasonal items on Tuesdays, and for the past two years, Starbucks has announced its PSL on the third Tuesday of the month (this year falling on Aug. 24) - you picking up what we're putting down?

Hang tight PSL-lovers, it's just a matter of time before you can have your first-of-the-season sip! Until then, go ahead and pick up this pumpkin spice Squishmallow at Target, it's almost as good as the real deal.
