We're one step closer to seeing Netflix's anticipated Tick, Tick... Boom! adaptation. On Monday, the streaming service released the full trailer for Lin-Manuel Miranda's feature-film directorial debut. The movie is a stage-to-screen adaptation of the autobiographical musical by Rent creator Jonathan Larson and follows the late playwright's life in New York City as he balances waiting tables at a diner with trying to establish himself in the theater world.
The trailer shows Andrew Garfield as Jon racing against the clock to achieve his dreams, joined by Alexandra Shipp as Jonathan's girlfriend, Susan, Vanessa Hudgens as Karessa, Robin de Jesús as Michael, and many more stars. The latest look also shows Garfield showing off his singing chops as he sits at a piano. Tick, Tick... Boom! is expected to arrive on Netflix this November, so get excited, Broadway buffs.
