Just when we thought we'd seen the end of the To All the Boys I've Loved Before franchise with To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Netflix confirms that a spinoff series is officially on the way! Earlier this year, Deadline reported that production companies Awesomeness and ACE Entertainment were looking to the future with a TV spinoff focusing on Kitty Song Covey (played by Anna Cathcart), and now that series is coming to fruition with Cathcart reprising her role on a show titled Xo, Kitty.
The log line for the half-hour, 10-episode series says that Kitty "thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she'll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it's your own heart on the line."
If you're worried about how well the series will tie to the original movie trilogy, rest assured the creator, writer, and executive producer of the spinoff is none other than To All the Boys I've Loved Before author Jenny Han! She will serve as the co-showrunner alongside Sascha Rothchild. Though no other tidbits of the show have been shared yet, we hope to get more details soon!
